Excellent Birding Book!

My mom always seems to get me some of the coolest Christmas Presents every year and this year was no different.

She gave me one of the neatest Bird Books that I have ever seen. If you are an avid birder or even just a little curious about birds then this bird book will help you ID birds by sight as well as sound. That’s right I said sound. This book has a sound sample of every Bird listed in it’s 360 some odd pages. All of the sound files are recorded from actual birds, They are provided by The Cornell Lab of Ornithology.

This book covers birds in North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia. Many of the birds in this book I would never see or hear in the wild due to their location. Now don’t get me wrong I would love to travel the world in search of these magnificent birds but my wallet just won’t let me and that is what makes this book so great! I can see illustrations of Birds from around the world, I can hear their actual songs or cries and I can do it all in the comfort of my house.
